General Filter Information
PureGo CB GenIII portable water filtration system utilizes standards and technology that leads the industry. The filter and straw are Antimicrobial meaning "Safe Water Always" (hot tab to performance table). The Gen III filter is tested to the EPA Protocol for Microbiological Purifiers by the University of Arizona and by Spectrum Labs in accordance with ANSI/NSF Protocol for Standard 42 and 53 Class I adapted for sport bottles. Unlike most filters, PureGo exceed all requirements, in every reduction category (Microbiological Organisms, Heavy Metals, Volatile compounds, and Trihalomethanes) Gen III filters incorporate a unique method of manufacturing and a proprietary blend of catalytic compounds. We do not use granular carbon as in your average filters but 6 different catalytic reduction compounds that remove heavy Metals and all VOC's including iodine and chlorine that is often added to water to kill viruses. PureGo will out perform all other filter sports bottle in this and any similar challenge. No other hiker type bottle filter concentrates on all of the various toxins one might find in open water sources...they usually focus on microorganisms only. Filter Life In general usage your PureGo personal filtration system will last about one year 1,000-1,200 fills or 3- 22oz. bottle fills each day before need to purchase a replacement filter. See chart for your individual usage conditions. 250 gallons or 1,600 PureGo bottle refills for the removal of Chlorine, Bad taste, contaminants in City waters and odors. 100 gallons or 640 PureGo bottle refills for the removal of dangerous Microbiological contaminants as well as Metals and Inorganics. 25 gallons or 160 PureGo bottle refills for the removal of all dangerous contaminants in bad water conditions as listed on Chart |
